Fire Resistance in Plastics 2009 took place from 30th November - 2nd December at the Sheraton Offenbach Hotel, Offenbach/Frankfurt, Germany.

The conference provided an international forum for all companies involved in flame retardancy and flame retardant plastics to learn about the latest developments influencing the industry.

The conference programme was divided into a number of sessions which will gave an overview of flame retardancy, looking at material developments including halogen vs. non halogen, zinc borates, metal hydroxides and brominated flame retardants.
